ZEITGEIST particularly encourages submissions engaging with themes such as colonialism, postcoloniality, indigenous experiences, borderland studies, identity and marginality, gender, environment, governance, social transformation, media, culture, literature, public policy, and the intellectual traditions of the Global South.</p> <p>The journal operates under a <strong>Gold Open Access</strong> publishing model, ensuring that all published content remains freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide without subscription fees or paywall restrictions. In alignment with its commitment to equitable access to knowledge and inclusive academic participation, particularly for scholars from under-resourced institutions and regions, the journal maintains a minimal and non-commercial article processing charge of <strong>Rs. 500/- per submission</strong>. The amount collected is utilized solely for the maintenance, technical operation, digital hosting, and publication-related requirements of the journal.</p> <p>ZEITGEIST is firmly committed to the principles of academic integrity, ethical publishing, transparency, and intellectual responsibility. All submissions undergo a rigorous <strong>double-blind peer-review process</strong> in accordance with established scholarly and ethical standards, including the guidelines prescribed by the <strong>Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)</strong>.
