Aims & Objectives
The central objective of Zeitgeist is to foster and disseminate knowledge that addresses the intellectual, ethical, political, and aesthetic challenges of our time. The journal will:
a) Serve as a platform for interdisciplinary scholarship that interrogates and reconfigures inherited disciplinary boundaries.
b) Promote regional scholarship from Northeast India and South Asia, situating it within global debates on democracy, development, identity, culture, and knowledge.
c) Facilitate the publication of theoretical interventions, empirical investigations, conceptual analyses, and innovative methodologies.
d) Encourage scholarly contributions that are attentive to the politics of knowledge, the ethics of representation, and the necessity of decolonial critique.
